About Us

From humble beginnings:

Founded in 1988 by a couple friends who moved to Tucson, Arizona from Guadalajara Mexico, what started as a way to make a living in the USA, turned into a true testament or what can be achieved when hard work, dedication, and grit are combined. To this day Micromex is a privately held family business.

The first 1000 Square foot factory, was originally formed to produce Owner and CEO, Juan Garcin’s senior design project. An electronic scale to weigh live fish in open water during fishing competition. He found success and began producing these scales for a local sales group. Once production began, we slowly garnished skills that would allow us to provide assembly services to more customers across different markets. Although the fish scales are no longer in production with us, we have since grown to have over 300,000square feet in USA and Mexico and over 400 employees.

IMURIS

Our 80,000sqft manufacturing facility is strategically located in the town of Immuring, Sonora Mexico. Imuris is located just 45 minutes south of Nogales has a population of around 16,000 inhabitants and we are the only manufacturing facility. This provides labor with very low turnover, translating into highly skilled labor. We do our best to give back to the community that has given so much to us.

Tucson

Our 200,000+ square foot warehouse is located at the Port of Tucson, conveniently back up to the Union Pacific railroad. This facility acts as the National returns center for Conair corporation. Here we handle over 700,000 returns per year. Product is received, confirmed and sorted for later refurbishment to be done at our Mexico site.
